Welcome to MolProbity, an interactive macromolecular structure validation tool
provided by the Richardson laboratory at Duke University.
MolProbity is deemed to be stable and complete enough for routine use by the community.
However, it is still under active development and as such cannot be guaranteed
to function reliably and correctly under all circumstances.
Please report any problems using the FEEDBACK feature at the top of every page.
Users now have the choice of two online viewers.
JavaMage is the original kinemage viewer written in Java.
It requires Java 1.1 and works with most browsers (but not Netscape 4.7 on the Mac).
KiNG is a new version of JavaMage (still under development) that offers additional features,
like printing, searching, and more extensive documentation.
KiNG requires Java 1.3 or newer, which may mean downloading the Java Plugin.
