Below is the list of 500 proteins used for the Ramachandran-plot distributions, with PDB code (ending in chainID, if needed), structure factor deposition status, resolution, and protein name.
The filters used to choose them were:
The result is our "top500" list, consisting of 149 files from our earlier "top240" list (see Rotamer Library), 328 files from the "PDBselect30" list as of Feb. 2000 (Hobohm & Sander 1994, Prot. Sci. 3, 522), and 23 new PDB files at better than 1.5 Å released from Feb. thru May 2000.
These compressed files each contain all 500 of the structures with Reduce built hydrogens:
