On 12th July 2012, Directorate Board of Research Institute for Climate Change and the Dean of College of Environment and Natural Resources, Can Tho University honorably welcomed Mr. Jame Edward, Deputy Regional Executive-South Central Area, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

During the meeting, a review has been made on jointly activities, collaborated projects between Research Institute for Climate Change – Can Tho University and U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). In addition, a potential Agreement of Collaboration focusing on implementation research activities on water quality and biodiversity of aquatic species under changing climate in the Mekong delta, Vietnam, has been proposed for future collaboration. The sides are also planning for enhancement of building capability for researchers and stakeholders in coping with climate change.
