CTU ACTIVITIES 1. UNDERGRADUTAE TRAINING In the academic year of 2004-2005, CTU has about 16,000 full-time students on campus in Can Tho City and 14,000 at the continuing education centers in the provinces throughout the Mekong Delta. The bachelor and engineer training programs at CTU are based on the credit system, taking 4 to 5 years to complete. During the first three semesters of an academic program, the undergraduate students pursue general courses common to all the disciplines and take some foundation courses within each discipline. In the remaining semesters, they gain professional knowledge in their area of specialization. In the academic year of 2004-2005, CTU has 47 undergraduate training programs.
