Delegation of Embassy and Consulate General of the United States visits CTU

In two days June 19-June 20, 2014, Can Tho University (CTU) was honored to receive the delegation of the U.S Embassy in Hanoi and the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City kindly to pay a warm visit at CTU. Warmly welcoming the delegation at CTU’s side was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Viet Dung - Vice Rector of CTU together with representative leaders and staff of College of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of International Relations, Climate Change Research Institute and Mekong Delta Development Research Institute. At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Viet Dung – Vice Rector of CTU kindly sent the warmest greetings of the University to the delegation of the Embassy and the Consulate General of the United States. Vice Rector also shared the updated information about CTU’s activities in training, scientific research, technology transfer and strategic plan for the University’s development, notably traditional strengths in agriculture, fisheries and environment. In particular, many international collaborative research programs in adaptation to climate change and research to serve the development of the Mekong Delta have been constantly strengthened, particularly with institutions and organizations from the U.S.
