Can Tho University (CTU)- September 25, 2007- The General Consulate delegation of The United States of America led by General Consul Kenneth J. Fairfax visited Can Tho University on the occasion of the visit of Can Tho People’s Committee and The Communist Party. Dr. Le Viet Dung, Vice Rector, briefly introduced  the education and  training functions, missions of CTU in the Mekong Delta.

The General Consul promised to support CTU to fulfill its missions as the leading university in Mekong Delta. In addition, the US Consulate General will facilitate the visa procedures for Mekong 1000 candidates as well as introduce the prestigious universities in the US. A professor of English will come to CTU to enhance the English skills for CTU staff.  Besides, they will train CTU staff in Overseas Study Consultancy.

The General Consulate of The United State of America in Ho Chi Minh City will open an Vietnam– US informaion stall  in the Can Tho Library.
