On the occasion of their official visit to Can Tho City, the delegation of French Congressmen and Consultate General in Ho Chi Minh City paid a visit to Can Tho University in the morning of September 16, 2006.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the cooperation between Viet Nam - France over the past time and delineate further opportunities for cooperation with Can Tho University in the coming time. The Congressmen expressed their interest in collaboration with Can tho University in the environmental field. On behalf of Can Tho University, Dr. Do Van Xe – Vice Rector, highly appreciated this good will and promised to actively implement the collaboration programs in the future.
