Missions:
The Department is fully responsible for the bachelor training program and taking part in the master program in Chemistry. In addition, the Department conducts lectures on Basic Chemistry for the first- and the second-year students from Colleges/ Institute within and also outside the University including School of Medicine and Pharmacy, Tay Do University. Besides teaching, the Department has been actively conducting many scientific researches in the fields of bioactive natural products including isolating, characterizing and synthesis.

Facilities
The Department has three specialized labs in Organic, Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry equipped with modern instruments such as Benmate microwave synthesizer, GC, IR, Kejdahl system, UV-VIS spectrometer,…These labs are especially used for conducting research and training students of the Bsc and Msc study programs in Chemistry. In addition, there are four Basic Chemistry labs serving practical activities of Non-Chemistry students within and also outside the University. |
