SCHOOL OF MARXISM-LININISM AND HO CHI MINH’S IDEOLOGY
The
School of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology was founded in 2003
and was formerly the Department of Marxism-Leninism.
The School has the following
functions:
- To give lectures on Marxism-Leninism,
Marxist-Leninist political economics, scientific socialism, Vietnam Communist
Party history, Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, logic, sociology for students of
economics, social sciences and humanities, natural sciences, and technology.
- To train high school teachers
to teach citizenship education.
- To teach Marxist-Leninist
philosophy to master’s and doctoral students, who do not major in this
field.
- To cooperate with the university
supporting departments to assist the Rectorate Board in educating staff’s
and students in Ho Chi Minh’s ideology.
The School’s total number
of teaching and administrative staff is 27, 3 holding Ph.D. degrees, 13
Master’s, 10 undergraduate degrees, and one three–year college degree.
The School consists of one
administrative group and four departments:
- Department of Marxism and
Leninism
- Department of Political
Economics
- Department of Scientific
Socialism
- Department of Vietnam Communist
Party History and Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology.
