SCHOOL OF LAW

 

The Faculty of Law was founded in February 2000 on the ground of the Law Department founded in September 1998. The Faculty has a role to train Bachelor of Laws for the Mekong River Delta. The Faculty also trains legal officers for some provinces. In the near future the Faculty will train Master of Laws. The Faculty attaches importance to the scientific research.    

The Faculty consists of three departments:

·        Administrative law

·        Judicial law

·        Business law

The Faculty offer the following four major fields of study leading to Bachelor of Laws:

  • Administrative law

  • Judicial law

  • Business law

  • Law

                
Every year the Faculty selects about 250 law students for studying at Cantho University and about 250 law students for studying at the Community Colleges in other provinces.

The Faculty keeps close cooperative relations with Universities from the Netherlands, France, England, Cambodia, Japan, Canada, USA, etc…
