Department of Environmental Engineering belong to College of Environment and Natural Resource was established on February 19th 2008 by the decision 187/QĐ-ĐHCT of the Rector. The tasks of the Department are training the student on the field of Environmental engineering, carrying out the research, technology transferring on the field of water treatment, solid waste treatment, air pollution control. In addition, the department also gives the consultancy on the field of environmental impact assessment, environmental planning, cleaner production...In the near future the department will focus on the upgrading the capacity of staffs to reach 50% of staff owning the PhD. Degree and the others owning the master degree. By that time the department will offer the Msc. course on Environmental engineering. Moreover the department will invest to upgrade the labs. To become the leading organization on research, technology transfer in the Mekong delta.
