The School of Education (SoE) was established in 1995 by merging the Faculties of Mathematics-Physics, Chemistry-Biology, History-Geography, Vietnamese Literature and Linguistics and Foreign Languages. Main missions of the school include (1) training primary school and upper secondary school teachers, researchers in educational and school subject matters and tour guides, (2) conducting research in the fields of educational, natural and social sciences. SoE offers MA programs in Theories and Methods in Vietnamese literature and language education, in Theories and Methods in English language education, in Theories and Methods in French language education, and in Vietnamese Literature Studies. In addition to degree-programs, the School annually offers training courses, workshops on knowledge of the subject matters, teaching and assessing and testing methods to upper secondary teachers in the Mekong Delta. The School has gained remarkable achievements in educational sciences.
